So a couple of months ago I gave myself a project. Something that has always intrigued me, something that has always fascinated me...I would take pictures of them and blog about it. And all I came up with since the last time I wrote were a bunch of selfies, some mad ad photos, and a picture of a packet of Haldirams aloo bhujia. Pity no? To be honest I wanted to write about my love story with Haldirams aloo bhujia but the only thing I could do was 'salivate, no write'. Hence I decided to chuck that entire exercise and termed it absolutely futile. My day in pictures will be in another blog, hopefully...whenever that sees the light of day, that is!
On a completely different note, I am unwell. I live in Chennai where its hot through the year, yet am buried under my really thick quilt. Thank god I bought this quilt during one of those famous Delhi winters and this fancy upmarket store. I technically didnt have any need for this quilt since I bought it just before shifting to Chennai. The husband was pissed off ! He felt it was a useless piece to carry with us where there would be absolutely no use for it. But how could I let it go? It was this soft, beautiful, divine quilt that I had to have. No saying no! So the husband very reluctantly paid for it. Now what can I say...sad but true, its been lying in the attic ever since. Four years later, that is, TODAY, I am shivering! The regular duvet that I usually have on the bed isnt solving any purpose. And I suddenly thought of this 'oh so lovely' quilt! Now now..I have this on me, this guilty pleasure! In bed, sipping a cuppa hot ginger tea, trying to read, trying to write a mindless piece on this blog, nursing a fever!
Jeez! The things I gotta do! Difficult life!
